In order for the user to receive notifications on their phone or computer in real time, it is necessary to allow notifications by clicking on the bell icon located in the lower right corner of the screen. On some phones and computers, notifications must also be enabled in the device’s system settings.
Computer
On your computer, go to Settings → System → Notifications.
Enable notifications, and under “App Notifications,” also enable notifications for the browser you are using.
In the browser, click on the settings icon next to the address bar, choose the “Notifications” option from the drop-down menu, and make sure notifications are enabled.
Android
To activate notifications, go to Settings → Apps → Notifications and enable the option to allow notifications.
